ZBR Fest 2025 is set for May 2nd-4th with Wave #1 and early bird 2-day passes going up on Friday! Should be $60. Pre-show will be extra at another venue in Chicago. First 10 bands are gonna knock some socks off!!!

There’s a hefty distro update going down tomorrow at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST, more info below.

In case you missed it, Keratin’s ‘Death & Rebirth’ 7”EP released this past Friday and as we’ve only got 50 copies for all of North America I would suggest picking one up now. For fans of Via Fondo, Suis La Lune, and Nionde Plagan.

The Återstod / Meißel split cassette releases in one week on Monday January 13th. 75 tapes, only 40 of which we’ll have as the rest went to the bands. In case you didn’t know Återstod is Henning from Suis La Lune’s new screamo solo project! Jam a song from each band below on the new Zampler (tracks 6 and 15)

With Split Silk out in full (embeded above) next on deck for Tomb Tree is the Othiel / Palefade. split that we churned out 40 copies of in two days. 3 variants, diy as all hell. Here they are! Releases September 20th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST. CDs will follow, likely in November.

As for ZBR, another friendly reminder that we’ll have the Hallam Foe one-sided 12” lathe EP for ‘Funkapokalips’ on September 17th. 25 black / 25 clear. All ass-kicking.

Operation X-Ray played a song from every label CanaDave is associated with. Very cool! Split Silk, Bloom Dream, and Leavs were featured in this 146th episode <3

Right in time for CanaDave to lose his shit (he just got the Emma Goldman LP masters and is trying to cope with it’s amazingness), Edie from Everything Remade interviewed Felix (guitar/vox) from the band. You are not ready. Minds blown early 2025.

Widowdusk tapes went up already and sold the fuck out, but we wanted to play it safe and kept back a few of each variant. So we’ll put those up for sale tomorrow May 14th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST for those who didn’t find out in time or just plain missed out. There were some comments about how we were sold out immediately but PLEASE remember that Bandcamp is not our primary store, we have about 75% of all stock in the US store, followed by 15% for the Canada/International store, and 10% for Bandcamp.

Niboowin’s ‘Giving In’ has been receiving high praise, and our bundles have almost bled us dry of their first output aka the ‘Breathing’ 12”LP. Vow released today on Tomb Tree and it’s arguably the heaviest thing they’ve ever released, which is saying something cuz they released Orphaned! Wicked late 90s metallic hardcore meets 2000s metalcore with some death crossover. Stores are linked through the bandcamp below.

With such a stellar release, it only makes sense that people are giving the new self-titled .22LR reviews. Case in point (((((OPENmind/SATURATEDbrain))))). Tapes didn’t sell out immediately but they’ve been moving steadily since the release as people are catching on that this is one of the best EPs of 2024. Widowdusk was reviewed by the always truthful Borderline Fuckup who gave this release an “underappreciated” tag which we agree with. Sure it got some hype, but jamming through that thing is heavenly.
