Zampler #24 released, Keratin tomorrow!

Zampler #24 came out on the last day of 2024 and includes a whopping 8 previously unreleased tracks! I know we initially said 9 but one didn’t get finished in time so that might pop up next Zampler. Check out brand new jams from Mourn Recif, Meißel, Blue Youth, Keratin, Återstod, Mahria, Athousandangelsandseven, and Emma Goldman!!! Art by Lucca Cassandra Carver of Split Silk.

Keratin 7”s ‘Death and Rebirth’ releases at a slightly different time than usual as it’s coming from Australia, make sure you’re ready at 2pm PST / 4pm CST / 5pm EST on January 3rd for the drop. 2024 - 12 - 30 /// Zampler #24 tonight!

Zampler #24 releases tonight at 9pm PST / 11pm CST / 12am EST! Get the fuck ready!!! Before that time almost all strike-era packages will be brought to the post office and mailed off. Many of you already have tracking, that’ll update once I drop this ridiculous amount of packages off at a couple of post offices (so as not to inundate any one location). There are a few stragglers from Bandcamp orders that should go by the end of the week as US Dave tries to keep up, but does have a ton of other responsibilities (like a real job and a child). Here’s a pic of me with most of the orders that have accumulated over the past 6 weeks. Seriously, thanks for your support and patience <3

Operation X-Ray premiered two brand new jams from athousandangelsandseven and Keratin, as well as a Die Princess Die song. Definitely worth a listen!!!

Coup D’etat had their release show a few weeks ago on the back of their debut album release ‘What Happens After the Epilogue…?’ and CanaDave witnessed, filmed, and played said show. This thing is hot stuff and all Canada/International and Bandcamp copies are gone, but there are 7 copies left in the US store so snag’em asap if interested. The GreenBlueGrey and Black Nails/Sharp Teeth split #2 aka the ‘gbg.bn/st.2’ cassette has officially released. If your brain needs scrambling this is definitely the release for you, with 9 new tracks by each project, all falling somewhere between the destructiveness of thecheeseburgerpicnic and the weirdness of The Locust. Just 48 tapes were made and the “pearlple” swirl comes in custom wooden boxes from Josh at Vamonos Tapes, we just don’t have any proper promo pics yet. These ship out mid-late January as we need to get the pieces together.

This Noise Is Ours featured their final ZBR Roster Review series for 2024 with the astonishing conclusion to the Rayleigh chapter titled ‘Last Word’. 2024 - 12 - 23 /// Die Princess Die released + Canada Post strike is over

Die Princess Die has released. Storytime! In 2004 CanaDave bought the Microwave Says To The Pacemaker 2×7” comp and discovered Die Emperor Die and promptly searched for and ordered a full length from Interpunk. When the album showed up and he inspected it closer, he realized that it was a different band altogether. Having already spent the money he gave it a spin and was pleasantly surprised. So he gave it a few more spins and realized that the album was pure fucking genius. Fast forward 20 years and CanaDave was still pushing this rather obscure band when he happened across the bassist and finally landed this release. Tis pure joy, my friends. Exuberance. Elation. So ZBR proudly presents the DIE PRINCESS DIE 'Discography' with brand new art from Boris Hager and all the tracks, sweat, yellin', glitches, groove, and noise that you could ever want from a band you've likely never heard of. Only 52 copies were made over three variants plus test dips. Imagine if Indian Summer drank an entire bottle of whiskey and freaked out to Slint. Best.

The Canada Post strike over! It didn’t get the end I was hoping for though, as the government ordered the workers back and nothing was solved. Regardless, the post offices are fucking jammed with holiday shipments and over a month of backlog. Therefore I will prepare all the orders by Tuesday but wait until later next week to bring them to the post office in an attempt at minimizing lost packages and general fuckups as the postal service will be utterly bombarded.

On December 31st Zampler #24 is coming. Around 10 previously unreleased tracks and new art from Lucca Cassandra from Split Silk. Here’s the previous Zampler!

Die Princess Die is releasing their discography via cassette on Zegema Beach Records in one week! Brand new art from Boris Hager! All 22 recorded tracks! CanaDave has been obsessed for literally two decades so this is a treat and then some. It’s like Slint meets Indian Summer meets chaos and it’s on a level all its own. Check out ‘Discography’ on Friday December 20th at 9am PST / 11am CST / 12pm EST on just 52 tapes!!!
