2022 - 09 - 29 /// ...OF DEATH...discography 2x12"!!!

September 29, 2022 by David Norman

Monday October 10th will see the release of the 2x12” ‘…discography’ by ….Of Death with D-side etching. It’s /300 copies and 150 of them are this - yellow/red merge disc 1 and ghostly red w/etching for disc 2. We’ll reveal the other variant next week. This is a co-release with Cliff Parade and Law Of Cycles, with each label taking 100 copies. Rosa of Law Of Cycles had this to say about the release:

What is there to say about ...Of Death? The band pulled my heart into a new world entirely at a time when I relied on nu-metal for catharsis. On "Generation of Vipers" the band draws from a similar well of influence frequented by Jeromes Dream, Tristan Tzara, and In Loving Memory. The songs prioritize the obnoxious attitude of punk while highlighting the urgency of grindcore, & work to convey the glory of triumphant rage. Well, more than they care to succumb to sadness & stillness, anyway. The Doomsday clock is ticking...

Check out one of the remastered songs (by Will Killingsworth) on the most recent Zampler 19, embedded below.

Hiding In The Outpost numba three is for Euth, as the Canada/International store (aka this one) only has one copy left! Bandcamp page with order link is embedded below!

CanaDave did an interview for this lengthy screamo piece on Stereogum. It’s an article about screamo band reformations as of late, and brings up some great points and is an interesting read. It should be noted that there are quite a few individuals who have been playing screamo these past 20+ years but we understand that there’s only so much time for research and only so much space in an article. Click on this text for the article. <3 <3 <3

Blue Youth 12”s are on sale! Why? Because they are amazing! And you’ve likely never heard it. Please change that. For CanaDave’s sake, please at least give it a listen. It’s one of our best releases, hands down.

Sarin’s ‘Darker Lakes’ was the subject of the most recent This Noise Is Ours ZBR roster dive. To clarify, the 12” does not have the three ambient interludes because they wouldn’t fit on the 12”. We are sold out of this beauty, but do have 12”s and tapes of their follow-up release ‘You Can’t Go Back’. Click on this text to go to the review. Thanks as always James <3

Johnny’s Reco-mmendations: C0MPUTER = This Richmond band surprised me with this new album and it’s fucking heeeeeeavy. Awesome follow-up!
